Contura 470

The Contura 470 is finished all-round in specially designed soapstone with glass on three sides so that everyone in the room can enjoy the warming glow.

The special heating system with convection pipes through the firebox ensures that heat is generated as soon as the fire is lit.  And thanks to the soapstone surround and extra blocks of soapstone under the hood, this stove continues to spread heat hours after the fire has gone out.

Contura 480

The Contura 480 bring contemporary styling to traditional wood-burning stoves.  Its gently rounded lines and elegant design add character to any room.  In addition to a soapstone surround, the Contura 480 incorporates extra blocks of olivine which continue to spread a gentle heat hours after the stove has burned out.

Contura 510

Contura 550

Ceramic glass in the door and sidelights spreads the flickering firelight from the generously proportioned firebox to bathe the room in a relaxing sensation of heat and light.

All Contura 500 models have two pipes that pass through the top section of the firebox.  These cool the hot fumes at the same time as they heat the ambient air in the room.  Cool air from the room is sucked up at the back of the heater to be subsequently released through the top vent at a temperature of around 150oC.  Read more about it on page 44 of the Contura brochure.

Contura 550A

The Contura 550A is a brushed up version of the popular Contura 550, with brushed aluminium sides and top.  This together with the steel top gives the stove an elegant impression.

The Contura 580W is the Contura 500’s wall-hung version.  Thanks to a unique suspension solution, the Contura 580W can be hung directly from the existing chimney breast.  The sidelights make the fire visible through an 180° angle.

Contura 670

The Contura 670 is a little wider at the back and is therefore best placed against a wall.  The stove’s convection system heats the sir to nearly 150 degrees, but at the same time cools the rear side of the stove, which makes it possible to place the stove near a combustible wall.

Contura 685

The Contura 685 is the pillar of the Contura 600 series.  The newly introduced sidelights enable the fire to be seen more clearly.

As with other stoves in the Contura 600 series, the Contura 685 is P marked by the Swedish National Testing and Research Institute meaning that it fulfils requirements that are considerably more stringent than the European regulations.
